Network Operations Center Technician

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician is responsible for proactively monitoring and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, including network, server, and telecommunications environments. This role focuses on incident identification and escalation, system maintenance, and continuous improvement to ensure reliable and secure IT operations.

• Proactively monitor network, server, and telecommunications infrastructure

• Identify, document, and escalate alerts, incidents, and critical issues

• Monitor and review data backups to ensure reliability

• Create, update, and distribute operational and performance reports

• Maintain and contribute to an internal IT knowledge base

• Ensure compliance with established IT guidelines, processes, and policies

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair infrastructure hardware and software

• Assist with patch management activities

• Install and configure computer hardware and related components

• Identify, recommend, and implement process and operational improvements

• Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or equivalent related experience

• 3+ years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, including server administration and implementation

• 3+ years of experience with virtualization, security, networking, databases, and storage systems

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
