About the Role :

Are you a hands-on professional who thrives in dynamic outdoor environments? We're looking for a Heavy Civil Carpenter to join our growing team and help shape critical infrastructure. You'll be responsible for constructing and aligning forms for duct banks and concrete structures, placing and finishing concrete to precise specifications, and installing conduit and embedded items per project plans.

What You'll Do :

• Construct and align forms for duct banks and concrete structures.
• Place, consolidate, and finish concrete to meet grade, texture, and tolerance requirements.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications with accuracy.
• Install conduit and embedded items as per project plans.
• Use carpentry and concrete tools with confidence and precision.

Work Environment :

This position is based in Hampton or Norfolk, Virginia and offers a contract-to-hire path for long-term career growth.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portsmouth, VA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following :
