Confidence in Piercing Services : Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers. Strong Communication & Selling Skills : You know how to engage customers build relationships and close the sale. Ability to Work Independently : Youre self-motivated organized and can take charge when needed. You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy particularly with young or anxious customers. You are proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently contributing to smooth store operations. You hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have 1-2 years of retail management experience. You can stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs). You can bend stoop extended reaching and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers. You are passionate about providing our customers with opportunities to express themselves freely every day. You are energized by interacting with customers and stive to provide excellent service throughout their visit. You are inspired by our values of teamwork compassion integrity customer delight diversity and self-expression. You have strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers employees and management. You possess a strong grasp of mathematics essential for tasks such as inventory management sales analysis and cash handling. You are a driven team leader with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Youre self-motivated and organized as some of our stores may require you to work alone at times. You show a passion for fashion and stay up to date with the latest trends which can contribute to enhancing the customer experience and driving sales. You can create a curated fashion look with product during your shift. Responsibilities
- Sales and Profit : Infuse your passion for Claires products into achieving retail store targets fostering growth and spreading the joy of self-expression; Implementing strategies and promotions to drive traffic and increase sales.
- Memorable Shopping Experiences : Infuse every customers interaction with Claires positivity and inclusivity. Shopping at Claires is about finding pieces that reflect their unique personality and celebrating who they are.
- Piercing Excellence : Join the ranks of our piercing experts through comprehensive training. Become a trusted guide for customers - conducting piercings educating on aftercare maintaining a sterile environment addressing questions and concerns throughout the process.
- Store Operations : Keep the heartbeat of our store strong by overseeing operations with efficiency and flair. From managing inventory and handling cash transactions to visual merchandising and coordinating promotional activities. You ensure that every aspect of store operations reflects the fun and joy that defines Claires.
- Team Leadership : Recruit train manage and provide direction and development to your team. Foster a culture of collaboration motivation and accountability to drive results and ensure team members are continually challenged and achieving their full potential.
- Brand Representation : Showcase Claires products and services with enthusiasm and offer fashion-related tips and advice. Ensure your store is well-merchandised reflecting the latest trends and maximizing sales opportunities.

Candidate Journey
Upon submitting your application you can expect an update within 5 days. Compensation Range : $17.00 - $19.50
Claires is committed to adhering to all applicable company policies and federal state and local laws and regulations. All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. The final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience education certifications skills and geographic location.
