Software Defined Networking (SDN) Engineer (US Citizenship is REQUIRED)

JOB TITLE : Software Defined Networking (SDN) Engineer (US Citizenship is REQUIRED)

RATE RANGE : $55 / hr- $68 / hr W2 (no health benefits / no PTO while on contract-an hour worked is an hour paid)

CLEARANCE : Secret obtainable within reasonable time based on requirements

LOCATION : Onsite in Scottsdale AZ 85257 (no relocation package)

DURATION : 6 month contract 9 / 80 schedule (every other Friday off)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Defined Networking (SDN) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering software development and SDN technologies. As an SDN Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing SDN solutions on a multi-transport networking radio.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

QUALIFICATIONS :

Proven experience in network engineering and SDN technologies.

Strong understanding of network protocols architecture and security.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or C.

Experience with SDN controllers (e.g. OpenDaylight ONOS) and network virtualization platforms.

Familiarity with cloud networking and infrastructure (e.g. AWS Azure).

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Experience with SDN solutions such as Modular RF Seeker and Viasat NetAgility.

Familiarity with embedded Linux systems.

Agile experience preferred.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Requires a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8 years of job-related experience or a Masters degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
