A company is looking for a Remote Investment Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
Perform review and reconciliation of custodial feed activity and post monthly transactions into the finance system
Prepare and review statutory and GAAP financial statements for investments, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines
Coordinate with external auditors and state insurance regulators on inquiries and regulatory filings related to investments
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
3+ years of accounting experience, including 1+ years in investment accounting
Experience with life insurance SAP and NAIC Annual Statement preparation (preferred)
Experience with Clearwater Analytics and S&P Capital IQ Pro platforms (preferred)
Commitment to staying current with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in the life insurance industry
