We are seeking an individual who is compassionate, caring and supportive to each child and their needs.What youll do :Meet the therapy needs of children of all ages and abilities, including behavioral, emotional regulation, gm and fm skills, sensory, visual perceptual skills, ADL's and more.Apply theory-based interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)Teach clients effective new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable componentsGuide, train and educate family members and caregivers on tools they can use at home or on a regular basisObserve, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goalsCollaborate and problem solve difficult client situations with other pediatric therapy team membersDescription noted above is not inclusive of all job duties.
Personal and Professional Skills Needed :Must be licensed as a COTA in the state of Nebraska.Passion for working with children and making therapy fun and engaging.Strong communication and collaboration skillsCreativity, flexibility, and apositive, energetic attitude!Strong work ethic and ability to utilize and manage your time.Job Types : PRN, Contract
