Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands such as Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. Since launching over two decades ago, we have established multiple sales channels including our DTC websites and third-party marketplaces. We’re passionate about creating an inspiring and engaging shopping experience for our customers, bringing their home decor dreams to life with stunning, on-trend pieces.

We are seeking a new member to add to our Ecommerce team, reporting directly to the Director of Design. Are you ready to be a part of something amazing?

Position Overview

As a Graphic Designer & E-Commerce Marketer, you are responsible for:

• Creating a wide variety of digital marketing materials across multiple brands.

• Creating and maintaining marketing graphics on 3rd party sites (like Amazon A+ content/Brand store)

• Creating social media content and email marketing designs in coordination with our Marketing and Design team.

• Creating slideshow style brand- and product-focused video animations

• Managing and maintaining our large asset/image library

• Post-processing of content assets per project needs

• Various ad-hoc projects

• Photography and Videography experience is a plus.

Requirements:

• Strong skills and at least 3 year of hands-on experience in working leading design programs, specifically:

• InDesign

• Photoshop

• Illustrator

• Canva

• Strong skills and at least 3 year of hands-on experience in a business setting

• Ability to come up with headlines and content for Social Media/Email based on Marketing calendar

• Experience with social media marketing, and e-mail marketing

• Some experience in Video/Motion Graphics software like Premiere Pro or After Effects, VideoLeap or Capcut.

• Familiarity with CMS software like Shopify and WordPress

• Familiarity with email client management tools like Klaviyo and Mailchimp

• Be highly detail oriented and exceptionally organized.

• Ability to communicate, explain and overcome objections for your creations.

• Excellent eye for color and branding

• Ability to self-start, manage time and work under tight deadlines.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team environment.

• Be open-minded, willing to try new things and have the curiosity needed to constantly evolve your talents.

• Ability to take creative direction, client feedback and implement across a range of deliverables.
