RPG Programmer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced RPG Programmer to support and enhance mission‑critical enterprise applications running on the IBM i (AS / 400) platform. This role is responsible for designing, developing, modernizing, and maintaining RPG‑based systems that support retail operations, merchandising, inventory, distribution, and financial processes for one of our clients.

Develop and maintain applications on the IBM i (AS / 400) platform using RPG. Write, optimize, and troubleshoot DB2 SQL, including stored procedures, triggers, and embedded SQL in RPG programs.

Support and enhance enterprise retail systems, including inventory, merchandising, warehouse, and financial applications.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as an RPG Programmer

Experience with various ERP, Warehouse Management, and / or Material Management systems

Experience with integration of those systems above

Ability to translate and convert data from various ERP systems or something similar
