Overview

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers of Colorado (RMCC) has an opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated medical physicist as a result of a retiring physics staff member.

Minimum requirements include: a master's degree in medical physics with ABR certification and an understanding of the systems listed below.

The immediate opening would be at our Lone Tree site at Sky Ridge Medical Center. The successful candidate would join another experienced physicist in covering this busy practice treating roughly 40-50 patient per day on 2 linear accelerators (1 Varian Edge and a 1 Varian iX which is to be replaced by the end of 2025). With a caseload of approximately 150 SBRTs and 50 SRS cases per year, we also have a low volume of HDR cases (Bracy Vision - mainly cylinders) and are currently in the process of implementing a Gamma Tile program. This site operates in an Aria/Eclipse environment with the RadFormation suite. You will also be joining a larger group of RMCC Physicist’s who work collaboratively to assure coverage and allow everyone to take our valuable time off and attend meetings (we each get 1 fully paid meeting / year).

Located at the foot of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, we thrive on over 300 days of sunshine
and blue sky each year! Colorado is a beautiful place to live and raise a family. Quality school
systems, abundant outdoor activities, a wide variety of indoor cultural opportunities - all coupled
with 4 major league sport teams - make this area second to none.

While dedication and teamwork are the key to our success, our work is not our lives.

We believe in a good work/home balance for wellbeing and mental health!

Salary Range: $220,000.00-$250,000.00 Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certification, etc. As of the date of this posting, in addition to your salary, RMCC offers the following benefits for this position, subject to eligibility requirements: Health, dental, and vision plans; wellness program; health savings account; flexible spending accounts; 401(k) retirement plan; life insurance, short-term disability insurance; long-term disability insurance, Employee Assistant Program, PTO, holiday pay, and tuition reimbursement.

A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, and certifications as compared to others doing substantially similar work. While all offers are compliant with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, there is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
