Position Summary : Are you a self-starter? We are in need of a part-time to full-time x-ray tech to join our team and create x-ray services to provide to our patient population. The person in this position performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. Works effectively with patients and families, and maintains a cooperative relationship with inter-departmental personnel by performing the following duties :
- Performs radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician.
- Operates DR equipment and monitors its operation.
- Determines proper technique through the selection of voltage, current, and exposure time.
- Positions patients for the proper view of the affected area.
- Instruct patients as to the proper physiological requirements for the procedure.
- Maintains technique charts in rooms in compliance with state law.
- Complies with infection control procedures.
- Responsible for performing EKG examinations.
- Other duties as assigned.

Associate degree in Radiology.Valid Radiologic Technologist license.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART)Current BLS for healthcare provider CPR or CRP / AED certification.Knowledge of HIPAA regulationsComputer, analytical, and organizational skillsCommunication skillsInterpersonal skillsMotivation skillsTime managementComplex problem-solving skillsPersuasion skillsPersistenceService-orientedInstructing and teaching skillsBasic computer skillsJob Type : Full-time
