Job Overview - Senior Tax Analyst :

Join our team as a Senior Tax Analyst in New York. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to work with high-net-worth clients, focusing on 1040s, trusts, and estate returns, among other responsibilities. We value work-life balance and provide room for growth in a small firm setting.

Location : New York, NY

Compensation : $95,000-$115,000 / year + bonus

Schedule : 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Responsibilities as the Senior Tax Analyst :

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, subchapter S, trusts, gift, and private foundations.
• Prepare and review quarterly tax estimate projections and foreign filing disclosures / reports (FBAR, 926, 8621, 8886, 8865).
• Respond to federal and state tax notices.
• Communicate effectively with managers and meet various tax deadlines.

Qualifications for the Senior Tax Analyst :

• 4-6 years' experience in preparing and reviewing returns in the high-net-worth space, preferably with public accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
• CPA or EA preferred, or actively pursuing licensure.
• Experience with GoSystem tax software, BNA income tax planner, QuickBooks, CCH Document, IntelliForms, and Microsoft Office is a plus.
