DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensures that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the Board's strategic plan.
- Participates in job training and professional growth opportunities in order to enhance ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
- Receives assessments from schools and sends out electronic scoring.
- Inputs student assessment data in eSchool. Assumes responsibilities for retrieving student data in eSchool including, but not limited to, state reports and administrative reports.
- Prepare forms, charts, tables and spreadsheet reports as required.
- Prepare a variety of correspondence, state reports, program student reports as required.
- Update and maintain vectors for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade for the bilingual department.
- Organize and conduct a beginning and end of the year audit of bilingual folders (Green Folders). This includes Charter and Private/Parochial Schools.
- Responsible for keeping the bilingual manual updated at all locations.
- Responsible for communication with various departments and buildings: , distribution etc.
- Maintains student temporary records and continues to update records regularly.
- Maintains updated tutor and paraprofessional information by building and by position.
- Creates and maintains in-program list and maintains transition and waived lists.
- Creates reports for two year monitoring of transitioned students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Knowledge of Rockford Public Schools eSchool system.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Spanish preferred.
- Able to produce multi-page reports, forms and use multiple software packages.
- Knowledge of bilingual services and assessment procedures.
- Able to interpret test scores and problem solve with administration and the state.
- Advanced time management skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Moderate in-district travel as well as intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. Intermittent prolonged and irregular hours of work.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Bilingual Data support professional must be able to read and write in dual languages. Duties may include written and oral translation of material and verbal conversations. Should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
