Storage Backup Administrator (Alhambra)

World Wide Technology is looking for a Storage and Backup Engineer. This role is part of WWTs Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWTs preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Job Title : Storage and Backup Engineer

Location : Hybrid (Once a week (Wednesdays) to Alhambra, CA).

Duration : 12 months

Rate / Salary : $75 / hr.

Job Description : Work Experience

Required

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a related technical field.

Other Relevant Experience

68 years of hands-on experience in storage administration (NetApp Storage, NetBackup, Windows OS, VMware, Red Hat Linux).

Experience deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting Kubernetes orchestration.

Experience implementing and managing PKI environments (certificate authorities, issuance, renewals).

Prior work in high-volume, operationally intensive environments.

Strong technical knowledge of design, implementation, migration, and troubleshooting.

Post-sales consulting experience (preferred).

Associate or Professional-level certifications (preferred).

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $70 to $75 hourly. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
