Assembler (7 Openings) – 1st Shift (Temp-to-Perm)

Pay : $17.50 / hr

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM

A growing manufacturing team in Worcester is hiring 7 Assemblers to support production of headsets, sub-assemblies, and small electromechanical components. This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work and have strong attention to detail—especially those comfortable working with small, delicate parts .

What You’ll Do :

Assemble and test electromechanical components using hand tools and equipment

Follow blueprints, patterns, and written work instructions

Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process

Troubleshoot basic issues and complete rework / repairs as needed

Escalate problems to the production supervisor when necessary

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Support additional production tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For :

Strong hand dexterity and ability to work with small / delicate components

Detail-oriented, consistent, and quality-focused

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Assembly experience preferred (soldering experience is a plus, but not required)

Ability to communicate effectively in English (work instructions / blueprints are in English)

Must be able to work the required department hours (no schedule flexibility)

Experience / Education :

No formal education required

0–1 year of manufacturing / assembly experience preferred

Seeking candidates with a strong work history demonstrating longevity in their prior roles.

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged sitting at a workbench

Repetitive assembly motions

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally

Visual acuity to inspect parts and completed assemblies

Work Environment :

Manufacturing setting with some areas not climate controlled

Possible exposure to heat, dust, and minor inconveniences

Movement between workstations throughout the shift

Pre-Employment Requirements :

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Must pass a background check and drug screen ( THC is acceptable )

Background check must be completed and cleared prior to starting
