DT-Healthcare Staffing is seeking a local contract Correctional Ultrasound Technologist for a local contract job in Greenville, Illinois.

Pay :   $48 to $60 an hour

Hiring one Ultrasound Technologist to support the Health Services Units at FCI Greenville and the Federal Prison Camp. Both male and female adults in custody receive services at these locations.

Schedule

  • One 8 hour session per month or two 4 hour sessions per month
  • Total work limited to 8 hours per month
  • Work between 7 : 30am and 4 : 00pm, Monday through Friday
  • No federal holidays

    • Duties

  • Perform general ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, and echocardiograms
  • Capture, process, and prepare images for interpretation
  • Ensure interpretation by a board certified radiologist or cardiologist
  • Submit typed reports within one week
  • Communicate abnormal findings by phone to the Clinical Director
  • Document each encounter on the required authorization form
  • Complete about 480 general studies, 60 vascular studies, and 36 echocardiograms each year

    • Requirements

  • Certification from an accredited radiology program that covers general, vascular, and echo
  • CPR through the American Heart Association
  • One year of experience
  • Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, and JCAHO standards
  • Ability to work in a secure federal facility
