Job Tittle : Utility Locate Technician

Location : Deerfield Beach, FL 33442

Job Description : Responsibilities :

• Accurately locate and mark underground utility lines using industry-standard equipment (e.g., electromagnetic and ground-penetrating radar tools).
• Must have knowledge of field equipment, such as Topcon E series, Trimble GPS, Trimble HDS and other day to day survey equipment.
• Perform various types of field surveys, including but not limited to : boundary, topographic, route, construction, ALTA and control surveys.
• Review and interpret utility maps, blueprints, and site plans to identify buried infrastructure.
• Complete all locate requests in a timely and efficient manner in compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Records must be clear and concise field notes.
• Maintain detailed records of work completed, including daily logs, digital records, and sketches.
• Represent the Company in the field to Clients and the Public in general, ensuring that work is performed to company standards and in a professional manner.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies, including personal protective equipment (PPE) use and safe driving practices.
• Report any potential utility conflicts, damages, or abnormal conditions immediately to supervisors
