Accounting Analyst II

This posting opens Friday January 30 2026 and will remain open until Tuesday February 17 2025 at 3 : 00p.m. (PST). The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) is looking for an experienced accounting professional to fill the role of Accounting Analyst II.

This position will record and monitor accounting transactions and assist in the preparation of payroll financial statements and analysis for the electric and water candidates will have a combination of experience performing the following :

• Accounts Payable
• Account reconciliation
• Financial reporting (including monthly and year-end closing)
• Payroll
• Benefit payment processing & reconciliation
• Debt Service Accounting
• Federal & State Grants
• Governmental Accounting

The Accounting Analyst role offers a broad range of responsibilitieswith room for growth. Compensation & Benefits

The starting annual salary range for this position based on level commensurate with knowledge skills and education as they relate to the position is : $79410.19 - $99262.74.

Minimum Training and Experience Required

Minimum Experience : Four years of experience in the assigned area of responsibility.

Recommended skills : Basic understanding of governmental accounting standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Education : Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related field.

Recommended Education : Masters degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related field.

Equivalency : An equivalent combination of experience and education may be qualifying.
