As our next Lead Estimator, you’ll play a vital role in driving Milcon’s growth and delivering high-quality results for our clients.

You’ll manage the full estimating process, collaborate closely with our PMs, foreman, and owner, and have the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects that help shape our community.

    • The Role :

  • Lead Estimator As Milcon's Lead Estimator, you’ll play a critical role in our growth and success.

    • You’ll :

  • Lead the Estimating Process : Prepare detailed estimates and timely bid submissions for complex civil construction projects.
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.

    • Possess Basic Project Management Skills :

  • You'll understand contract management, submittals, scheduling and material procurement.

    • Champion Collaboration :

  • Work side by side with our passionate PMs, foreman, and owner from bid to project closeout.

    • Drive Results :

  • Oversee project setup, change orders, and help ensure cost-effective, successful implementations.

    • Build Relationships :

  • Negotiate, communicate, and foster trust with clients, owners, subcontractors, and vendors.

    • What You Bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology or equivalent experience 5+ years of proven expertise in civil construction estimating, such as utilities, earthwork, or road construction preferred Mastery of construction processes from bidding to closeout, equipment choices, and safety standards Experience with HeavyBid construction software and MS Office (Excel, Outlook) Strong understanding of specs and blueprints with high level of attention to detail Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills Positive attitude and a drive to continuously learn and deliver better outcomes Milcon Concrete, Inc. is committed to diversity, equal opportunity, and a drug-free workplace.
