Senior Engineer - P&C

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer - P&C.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and support for the design of protection, control, and metering systems for electrical substations

Conduct protection coordination studies and relay settings for high voltage utility transmission systems

Support construction, commissioning activities, and participate in client technical meetings

Required Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of utility-specific protection, control, and metering experience

Electrical Engineering Degree from a recognized university with the ability to register as a Professional Engineer in Canada and / or the United States

3-4 years of experience in protection coordination studies and relay settings for high voltage utility transmission systems is preferred

Experience with relay setting software such as ASPEN, CAPE, EasyPower, SKM Power Tools, and SEL and GE relay programming software

Proven field experience with outage planning, construction sequencing, and commissioning is considered an asset
