Unemployment Claims Specialist

A company is looking for an Unemployment Specialist to analyze and adjudicate unemployment claims.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and process complex unemployment claims, managing them towards timely resolution

Represent the company at administrative unemployment compensation hearings as needed

Monitor benefits due and payment calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory limits

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred

Three (3) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required

In-depth knowledge of insurance principles, laws, and cost containment principles

Licenses and professional certification as applicable to line-of-business preferred

Ability to work in a team environment and meet performance competencies
