Position Description
The Springer Lab is now recruiting for an Assistant Specialist. The areas of specialization / responsibilities for this position include studying the effects of smoke and aerosol inhalation on cardiac function and structure, and vascular endothelial response, in rodent models.

Appointees in the Specialist series will be expected to engage in specialized research, professional activities and do not have teaching responsibilities. Specialists are expected to use their professional expertise to make scientific and scholarly contributions and may participate in University and Public Service. Screening of applicants will begin immediately and will continue as needed throughout the recruitment period. Salary will be commensurate with the applicants experience and training. The Assistant Specialist hired for this position will lead parts of an ongoing NIH?funded project to study potentially additive effects of both smoking and vaping relate to only smoking or only vaping.
