Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Mililani, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence throughout retail and mall locations. Your primary focus will be conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, offering you the opportunity to interact with the public and support a positive environment while embodying our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate : $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

Tuesday 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

Wednesday 01 : 00 PM - 09 : 00 PM

Friday 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

Saturday 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and / or employees with directions and information as needed.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
