[job_card.job_description]Experience : 1 year of paid caregiving or healthcare experience preferred. Background & Health : Must pass a Live Scan background check, health screening, and TB test. Availability : Able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays; flexible scheduling required. COVID Safety : Must be able to wear a face mask, follow COVID protocols, and participate in testing as needed. Physical Ability : Must be in good physical condition; the job requires being on your feet frequently and assisting residents with mobility and personal care. Work in teams of two caring for residents living with Alzheimers and dementia. Provide hands-on support with : Cooking and light housekeeping Walking and mobility assistance Games, activities, and arts / crafts Karaoke and twice-daily fitness circle Documentation is a key part of the role attention to detail is important. Assist up to 6 elderly residents in a small, home-like environment located in the Arden / Fulton area of Sacramento.
Toileting and incontinent care
