Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to join our team and oversee a variety of bridge and roadway construction projects in the Hampton Roads area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of relevant work experience with a high school diploma or two years with a bachelor's degree. This role requires strong capabilities in understanding construction plans, specifications, and procedures, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and establish robust working relationships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a variety of roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Direct inspection and material testing efforts.
• Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring operations remain within specified corporate or project budget parameters.
• Prepare and analyze schedules and cost estimates.
• Assist in negotiating contractor change orders.
• Supervise onsite teams and manage change orders.
• Ensure effective document control.

The role involves both in-office and on-site work as needed, with standard work hours from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $115000.00 / hr.
