Warehouse Attendant

The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for the quantity and quality of all product, both food and non-food items that come to the receiving dock and is responsible for placing all product designated as "inventory" in that assigned warehouse location(s). The Warehouse Attendant will ensure that every item that hits the dock has proper documentation for the vendor as prescribed by the purchasing department. The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for the rotation of product, pulling of product, requesting restock, as well as maintaining proper par levels. The Warehouse Attendant will maintain professional latitude when dealing with vendors, drivers, and team members at all times without exception. The Warehouse Attendant will accurately document and sign all associated paperwork for system input. Any other duty as assigned / deem necessary by management. All functions are to be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resort's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the receipt, storage, delivery and inspection of all items received at the receiving dock and stored in the warehouse.
• Follow established policies and procedures for the inspection of incoming materials against order and specification for correctness and defects and arrange for return of defective material.
• Follow established policies and procedures for coordinating the requisition of materials from the warehouse to user departments.
• Responsible for transferring and transporting all materials from Warehouse to user departments.
• Follow established policies and procedures to insure that the warehouse facilities are kept clean, safe and orderly at all times.
• Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Attend all necessary training meetings.
• Assist in other projects, as directed.
• Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.
