A company is looking for a System Safety Engineer, Commercial Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design safety into autonomous vehicle systems focusing on commercial applications
Perform safety analyses including Preliminary Hazard Analysis, Functional Hazard Analysis, and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
Communicate design considerations and progress regarding system safety across the engineering organization
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
2+ years of experience as a System Safety Engineer or in a related role focused on autonomous or safety-critical systems
Experience with system / functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, MIL-STD-882E)
Knowledge of Probabilistic Risk Analysis techniques
Familiarity with robotics, AI, and / or machine learning
