Job Summary
Our client is seeking a diligent Sterile Processing Technician who will be responsible for performing various functions from decontamination to cleaning, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of various instruments and equipment, following the manufacturer's instructions for use (IFU). The role also includes the responsibility of operating and maintaining ultrasonic washer, washer sterilizer, steam autoclave, and related processing services and supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform decontamination and cleaning of medical instruments and equipment.
- Inspect, assemble, and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Distribute sterile supplies and equipment.
- Operate and maintain ultrasonic washer, washer sterilizer, and steam autoclave.
- Provide guidance and advice to "students" working towards their CRCST certification.
Skills
