Where Youll Work

At CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs patients are at the heart of our care. Our campus is designed to heal the body mind and spirit of every person in a more comfortable less stressful hospital environment. Our full range of medical services include a new pavilion featuring enhancements in heart and vascular care surgery maternity cancer care and diagnostic imaging.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

  • Conducts therapy sessions with patient by doing individual group and family and / or significant other counseling and education to assist these individuals in achieving defined treatment goals
  • Refers and collaborates with care team other agencies and significant others having a joint interest in meeting the needs of the patient
  • Respond to crisis situations and provide crisis intervention to patients in assigned program

Job Requirements

  • Masters Degree Mental Health Counseling or Social Work
  • Must have an active license in state of practice - IA : LMHC
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
