General Job Purpose
The Manager, Provider Credentialing and Enrollment , is responsible for ensuring that all activities related to credentialing, provider enrollment, and payer relations are completed accurately and on time. This role is a key member of the Revenue Cycle Management team and collaborates closely with leadership and providers across Optical, Ophthalmology, and Surgical Centers.
The Manager oversees timely and accurate credentialing and provider enrollment processes for employed practitioners-including initial enrollment, re-enrollment, re-validations, terminations, and record updates. Additional responsibilities include supporting system-wide standardization, operational continuity, policy development, workflow creation, and audit processes related to Credentialing and Provider Enrollment.

What You Will Be Working On
Performance
Maintain strong relationships with payers and insurance plans
Stay up to date on regulatory requirements and industry changes
Serve as the subject matter expert on credentialing, enrollment, and payer requirements
Collaborate with operations to ensure all provider documentation is stored and organized
Partner with Regional Directors of Operations on provider enrollment status and revalidations
Prioritize and ensure timely provider onboarding with routine communication regarding progress, delays, and needs
Complete group and facility enrollments, reappointments, revalidations, and carrier-related requests
Maintain certificates of insurance for all providers and groups annually
Research and implement new state enrollment requirements or updates
Maintain CAQH profiles, including logins and passwords
Assist with monitoring and maintaining provider licensure
Communicate enrollment updates to ensure accurate scheduling and operational alignment
Leadership & Management
Lead and support the Credentialing / Provider Enrollment team
Develop and maintain standards and procedures for all applicable carriers
Conduct annual performance reviews
Hold regular 1 : 1 meetings with team members
Establish team cadence, processes, and expectations
Identify training needs and create development and education plans
Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support as needed
Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new staff
Communication
Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholder groups to provide updates, resolve issues, and support operational and financial performance :
Physicians
Practice leadership (managers, physicians)
Internal teams
Third-party partners and vendors

What You Know
To succeed in this role, you should have :
Bachelor's degree in finance or a business-related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in healthcare or a related industry
3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience
