Partnerships Manager

We're seeking a strategic and collaborative Partnerships Manager to join the Venmo Partnerships team, responsible for managing and executing partnerships that enhance Venmo's customer experience and business growth. In this role, you'll drive initiatives across product and business use cases, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring partner experiences to life. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution, excels at relationship management, and communicates effectively across teams and stakeholders. You'll manage partner relationships, oversee implementation, and identify opportunities to optimize performance, in order to deliver meaningful value to Venmo users and partners.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Execute plans to build and maintain partnerships with key payment entities.
  • Build rapport with operational stakeholders at partner organizations.
  • Manage contracts and agreements under senior guidance.
  • Partner with product and marketing teams to roll out new partnership-driven initiatives.
  • Analyze partner performance data to identify areas of improvement or new opportunities.
  • Track regulatory updates and competitive developments that could impact partnerships.
  • Report progress on partnerships to senior leadership regularly.
  • Lead internal teams in resolving partnership-related challenges.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Identify incremental opportunities for partnership expansion.

Expected Qualifications :

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications :

  • Direct prior experience in eCommerce, FinTech, and / or banking ecosystem preferred.
  • Experience managing or supporting product integrations and working with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to distill complex strategies into clear, actionable insights for leaders and stakeholders.
  • Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to represent Venmo in partner discussions.
