Position Overview

RION Equipment is looking for a Field Technician to perform field service and repairs on customer forklift and material handling equipment.  You’ll primarily be working independently driving a company provided service truck to the customer’s place of operations, but you’ll always have the support of the entire RION Equipment team.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES :

• Remove, install, repair, disassemble, assemble, and perform failure analysis of all forklift and material handling equipment including engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic and computer applications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair most types and brands of lifts
• Read and understand schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems
• Perform proper preventative maintenance in a timely manner
• Work in a variety of customer locations and industry environments
