This full-time, on-site AI Developer Lead role offers $80,000–$120,000 annually with excellent benefits, a collaborative culture, and the opportunity to build and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions that make a real impact.

The AI Developer Lead will design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems and tools that enhance automation, data analysis, and workflow efficiency across the organization. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role that blends AI model development, data engineering, and full-stack web development with mentorship and cross-functional collaboration.

You'll join a culture that is all in on AI — with an internal AI task force, firmwide learning sessions, and leadership that actively supports experimentation and innovation. The ideal candidate is a technically strong developer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited to build practical, user-friendly AI applications from concept to implementation.

This is an in-person, onsite position in the Buffalo area.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of AI-powered tools, from data design and model training to front-end implementation and deployment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for automation, research enhancement, and data-driven decision-making.
• Build intuitive user interfaces and web applications that make complex AI functionality accessible to non-technical users.
• Design, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines, APIs, and cloud environments to support AI and analytics projects.
• Develop dashboards and visualization tools using Power BI and Python.
• Mentor junior developers and data engineers on AI, coding standards, and best practices.
• Partner with leadership to drive innovation strategy and ensure successful integration of AI into workflows and processes.
