Water / Wastewater Professional Engineer

Job Title : Water / Wastewater Engineer Salary Range : $115,000 – $125,000, depending on experience. Job Type : Full-Time. About the Opportunity :  I am seeking a skilled Water / Wastewater Engineer to join a highly respected, 100% employee-owned civil engineering firm that has proudly served North Carolina for over 50 years. As a Water & Wastewater Engineer, you will be an essential part of a collaborative team responsible for planning, permitting, and designing municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. This includes sewer systems, pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and distribution networks.

Responsibilities :

• Plan, design, and oversee water and wastewater projects
• Conduct site visits and community assessments
• Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, and design specifications
• Coordinate permitting processes and ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal team members
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry best practices
