Maintenance Manager

Salary : $108,700-$144,900

Location : Compton, CA

The Job You Will Perform :

• Actively supervises employees in the everyday coordination, execution, and planning of maintenance efforts.
• Reports to the Manufacturing Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes known, while providing technical expertise regarding plant equipment and facilities.
• Initiates and / or maintains a cost-effective preventive maintenance program and implements quality improvement and cost reduction ideas.
• Contacts and works with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results.
• Maintains adequate inventories of spare parts and purchases materials, parts, and supplies as required.
• Troubleshoots and solves problems.
• Identifies areas where safety issues could arise and takes measures to proactively address the concerns.
• Plans, schedules, and monitors the timely completion of maintenance work orders.
• Maintains a good working relationship with the plant management, supervisory staff, and hourly employees.
• Maintains good housekeeping practices.
• Continually communicates in a positive manner.
• Participates in weekly, monthly, semiannual, and annual safety and environmental audits.
