Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to support perioperative services by ensuring the proper decontamination, sterilization, assembly, and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to industry standards, and reliability while working in a high-demand environment. Full-time hours (40 hours per week) are guaranteed, with the exception of major holiday weeks. Shared call responsibilities are required.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, sterilization, and assembly of surgical instruments and equipment.
Follow established protocols, infection-control practices, and sterilization standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles, tray assembly, and equipment status.
Collaborate with surgical and clinical staff to ensure proper instrument availability.
Support the department during shared call coverage as assigned.
Adhere to safety policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
Certification required.
Current TB clearance required.
Ability to participate in shared call rotations.
Shift Information :
Monday through Friday
Some shared call required
EMR System : CPSI / Evident
Additional Details : 13-week assignment
