Job Purpose : As a Banquet Houseperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our events run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the banquet team to set up, maintain, and break down meeting and event spaces. Your responsibilities will include preparing the venue for events, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Job Responsibilities :
- Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to specified layouts and instructions.
- Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment required for events.
- Ensure all meeting areas are clean, safe, and well-presented for clients and guests.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of audio-visual equipment as needed.
- Monitor events and provide on-the-spot support and assistance to guests and team members.
- Collaborate with the banquet team to address any special requests or changes during events.
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and report any shortages or damages.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment.
Job Skills :
Prior experience in a hospitality or banquet setting is preferred but not required.Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture as required.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Benefits
