Join our team as an Analyst, where you will develop and maintain PERL CGI web-based applications that interact with SQL backend databases on a Linux open source platform. Your primary focus will be on generating dynamic web content after querying a backend database, testing, and documenting developed code before releasing it into production.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web-based applications using PERL CGI.

Interact with SQL backend databases and generate dynamic web content.

Test and document code prior to release into production.

Meet with end users to gather requirements and details for bugs and enhancements.

Implement bug fixes and enhancements as tasked from the Bugzilla bug / enhancement tracking system.

Conduct code review and peer review, including quality testing and documentation of modifications.

Use Git as a source repository for changes.

Collaborate with the team in a dynamic and innovative environment to develop or correct application issues.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and PERL.

Strong understanding of databases.

1+ year experience in Common Gateway Interface (CGI) web-based development using PERL, PHP, or Python.

1+ years experience with Linux operating system, including the ability to navigate at the command line level and create / edit files.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT degree focused on software development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.00 / hr.
