Salary Range : $88,192.00 - $136,697.60
As a Clinical Nurse III, you will contribute significantly to a compassionate and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues. Your role will include :
- Implementing physician orders, administering medications, and performing treatments while adhering to company policies, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
- Assessing and evaluating patient needs during and after care to ensure comprehensive support.
- Applying sound nursing judgment in patient care decisions.
- Providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
- Administering over-the-counter and prescription medications as required.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to develop individualized care plans for all patients.
- Guiding and directing ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduate of a professional academic nursing program offering a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is mandatory.1-3 years of clinical RN experience, with at least 1 year in Telemetry or ICU.A commitment to improving job performance through ongoing education.Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and the ability to apply problem-solving techniques in patient care.We appreciate your interest in joining Albany Medical Center, an equal opportunity employer dedicated to a diverse workforce.
