About the Role

The Company is in search of a DPT Program Director to lead and oversee the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining program accreditation, coordinating the submission of required documentation to accreditation bodies, and ensuring that the program's information is accurately and transparently presented to the public. The role also involves the development and maintenance of a contemporary, evidence-based curriculum that meets accreditation standards and program goals. The DPT Program Director will provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the program, and will be actively involved in collaboration with other program directors and faculty.

Applicants for the DPT Program Director position must have an earned terminal academic doctorate, at least 6 years of full-time higher education experience, a minimum of 3 years as a DPT faculty member or Associate Professor, and an active Physical Therapist License. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of legislative, regulatory, legal, and practice issues affecting clinical education and the profession of physical therapy, including CAPTE Accreditation Standards. The role requires a leader who can effectively manage the program, ensure compliance with accreditation requirements, and foster a culture of academic excellence and innovation.
