Director of Actuarial Services

A company is looking for a Director, Actuarial - Variable Annuities and RILA.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the close and reporting processes under IFRS, US GAAP, and Statutory / NAIC for Variable Annuity and RILA blocks

Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and disclosures for various stakeholders

Manage and develop a reporting team focused on accounting bases and ensure effective audit coordination

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field with 10 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of experience

FSA and American Academy of Actuaries membership

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Solid understanding of capital markets and risk / return profiles of various assets

Experience in financial reporting, controllership, or actuarial roles within life insurance
