These Ford Chassis Controls positions involve a mix of theory computer simulation and in-vehicle testing. Examples of technologies we have delivered include Roll Stability Control Yaw Stability Control Trailer Sway Control Trail Control Trail Turn Assist and many more. Upcoming projects will continue to push the envelope of Driver Assistance and Autonomous Vehicle Technologies!

We are seeking Controls Engineers and Software Engineers in our Dearborn Michigan location.

Responsibilities

What youll do...

• Develop maintain and verify brake based control algorithms written primarily in C-Hand code
• Develop requirements and design verification plans for motion controlfeatures and functions
• Perform software functional MIL / SIL testing working closely with chassis controls analytical method test engineers to prove out functions
• Use simulation unit testing and vehicle testing to verify algorithm updates improvements and tuning strategies
• Collaborate with feature and system engineers to develop new SW functions to improve experiences for our customers
• Work with calibration teams to understand and tune control algorithms in vehicle
