1st Shift Forklift Driver

$20.00 / hour

Location : Piedmont, SC

Shift : 1st 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM - Mon to Fri Occasionally overtime on Saturdays.

Job Summary :

Workbox Staffing is seeking a skilled Material Handler Associate to join our team in a manufacturing environment. This temp-to-hire opportunity involves operating forklifts, managing inventory, and supporting logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate forklifts, tuggers, and elevating platforms to move products and materials

  • Receive, scan, and store inventory using bar code scanners and ERP systems
  • Pull components for assembly and stage finished goods for shipment
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory checks, and daily equipment inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and follow safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
  • Collaborate with the team and be cross-trained as needed

What We're Looking For :

High school diploma or GED

  • 6+ months of experience in manufacturing / logistics
  • Valid forklift license and driver's license
  • Basic math and computer skills, with SAP experience a plus
  • Ability to read and follow safety / operational documents
  • Clear communication skills and physical ability to lift 25-40 lbs
