[job_card.job_description]Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and QA to design and develop mobile applications and features, along with associated cloud and web applications. Build highly scalable service-based applications. Improve performance of existing applications. Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting many products on varied release cycles. Adhere to and promote AFL’s environmental, health & safety policies. 5+ years of mobile application development experience with .NET MAUI targeting both Android and iOS platforms is required. 5+ years of programming experience using .NET Framework / .NET Core and C# is required. Experience working with cloud computing platforms such as GCP, AWS, Microsoft Azure (GCP experience is preferred). iOS / Android native development experience is a plus. Experience with iOS / Android stores is a plus. Hands-on experience designing, building and deploying microservices in cloud-native environments. Strong technical skills with a proven ability to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality software on time. Working knowledge of Git / Bitbucket, Jira, and Scrum methodologies. Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-powered development tools to enhance programming productivity is advantageous. Frontend experience in Vue.js is a plus. Experience building websites for load-balanced environments is a plus. Experience working in fiber optics is a plus. Experience working on a Linux platform is a plus. A strong commitment to collaborative problem solving, attention to detailed design and delivering high quality products is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive team relationships and strong business partnerships. Self-starter with strong time management skills, capable of thriving in environments with minimal supervision. Results – orientated and capable of meeting goals in an ever-evolving environment. Self-confident problem solver with strong analytical skills. AFL is a fast paced and complex environment. Role is a critically important role in our Test & Inspection team. Salary range for this role is $88,380 - $141,408 depending on background and industry experience

We are seeking a Mobile Application Developer to join our Equipment Group in the Westford, MA area. After gaining knowledge of our environment, there is the opportunity for this position to work under our Hybrid schedule working both in the office and remotely.
This individual will perform hands-on mobile development that targets Android and iOS systems. In addition, the individual may perform hands-on development in support of cloud and web applications, utilizing a variety of modern application development frameworks, languages, and techniques. This individual will be responsible for developing and extending our existing FlexApp® mobile infrastructure to support new device types and capabilities.
