Diesel Truck Apprentice (Hourly)

Stoneham Ford – Stoneham, MA

Pay : $22.00 – $26.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM

Job Type : Full-time

JOB SUMMARY

Stoneham Ford is seeking a motivated Diesel Truck Apprentice to join our high-volume, award-winning Ford service department. This hourly position is ideal for individuals pursuing a career as a Diesel Technician.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Diesel Truck Apprentice assists senior diesel technicians with maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and service operations on Ford trucks and commercial vehicles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Diesel Technicians with repairs and diagnostics
  • Perform diesel maintenance and basic engine services
  • Use Ford factory diagnostic software and shop tools
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow dealership and Ford repair procedures
  • Participate in continued paid Ford training

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ford experience OR 1–3 years diesel / automotive repair experience
  • Must have own tools
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Strong motivation and willingness to learn
