Texas Licensed IBM ALC Programmer

A company is looking for a Senior IBM Z Communications Programmer ALC Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Write, debug, and maintain high-performance ALC code for a communications application

Perform advanced diagnostics to resolve complex communications failures

Develop and maintain JCL and REXX scripts for automation and monitoring

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience as an IBM Z Systems Programmer in high volume environments

Expert proficiency in Assembler Language Code ALC BAL, particularly for communications protocols

Deep understanding of IBM zArchitecture and z OS kernel operations

Experience with advanced debugging tools and performance monitoring utilities

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred
