Position Overview

The Finance Consultant will play a hands-on role in analyzing financial data, enhancing reporting processes, and implementing best practices to support leadership decision-making. This is a consulting engagement ideal for a finance professional who enjoys solving problems, building efficiencies, and making an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities for the Finance Consultant :

Analyze financial statements and provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Develop dashboards and improve management reporting for leadership

Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to drive efficiency

Support system integration and automation of financial workflows

Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to align financial strategy with business goals

Qualifications for the Finance Consultant :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)

5+ years of progressive finance experience, with consulting or advisory background preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise

Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar)

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with executives and cross-functional teams
