Locals are accepted, same pay for locals. RTO must be submitted upon submission; no additional RTO will be approved later on. RTO blocked from 11 / 28 to 11 / 30, 12 / 19 to 12 / 21, and 12 / 26 to 12 / 28. Traveler must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays. Unit will allow one holiday off; cannot request both the evening / day after and day of holiday, must choose one day. Experience high patient ratios of 1 : 5 to 6; could be up to 8 depending on patient volume and holidays. Traveler must have Level I trauma experience. Traveler agrees to work 3 weekends (Friday to Sunday) per 4-week schedule. Modules are not billable; please account for 5 hours outside the scheduled hours. Unit details include interdisciplinary support from various services. Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 250 patients. Staffing ratios can reach 1 : 4 to 6 during the day and 1 : 4 to 7 during the night. Education and training must be completed before starting in the unit. All certifications must be current and cannot be pending past the contract start. Modules must be completed pre-start and can vary by specialty.
