Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Service Manager for Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, located in Livingston, New Jersey. Barnabas is a 500 bed facility, overseeing a team of 20 union staff. This manager will oversee the Environmental Service and Linen Distribution departments. This position will oversee third shift (11pm-7:00am), with rotating weekends and will report to the Operations Manager on-site at this full service account, where all the staff is on Sodexo's payroll. This is in a suburban setting, union environment for a large blue chip system. The expectations for this position is to run a high performance and high efficient program around bed turnover, patient engagement, housekeeping, and floor care projects.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores in a high demand environment;
• Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
• Lead custodial teams and departmental projects and initiatives;
• Effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and/or
• Support an inclusive workforce.

Qualifications

• Have experience leading, training and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team;
• Have customer service and/or guest satisfaction in a health care or hospitality;
• Possess strong leadership skills and has the ability to work independently to drive program;
• Have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;
• Are results and safety driven;
• Are proficient with computers and other technology.
