Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
Set personal performance goals and strive to meet or exceed them.
Educate patients on exercises and techniques to improve mobility.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
Engage in regular feedback sessions to improve skills and performance.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments.
Adhere to safety and health regulations during patient care.
Assist in the evaluation of patient outcomes and treatment effectiveness.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of therapy equipment.
Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues.
Experience / Qualifications
Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Goal-oriented approach with a focus on achieving performance targets.
Experience in a clinical setting assisting physical therapists.
Ability to monitor and document patient progress accurately.
Strong communication skills to educate patients effectively.
Team-oriented mindset to support a collaborative work environment.
Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
Familiarity with safety and health regulations in patient care.
Ability to set up and maintain therapy equipment effectively.
