Job Overview :
The MDU Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in overseeing Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) installation teams. This position requires a strong field presence, extensive travel, and hands-on supervision to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to client standards. Additional regional or out-of-state assignments may be required to support operational needs and maintain productivity.

Key Responsibilities :
Provide day-to-day on-site supervision of MDU crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications.
Conduct frequent site surveys to monitor progress, validate scope, and proactively identify issues or risks.
Ensure all Quality Control (QC) measures are completed, documented, and implemented.
Schedule and coordinate project activities with property management teams, maintaining strong and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Plan, assign, and monitor daily tasks to keep teams aligned with deadlines and productivity goals.
Maintain a daily productivity tracker to monitor performance, escalate challenges, and provide data-driven updates to leadership.
Manage warehousing needs, including issuing materials, scanning equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Ensure all tools, vehicles, and equipment are in proper working condition.
Conduct monthly inspections of tools and PPE to support compliance and safety standards.
Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and communication to MDU teams to support successful project execution.
Address on-site escalations promptly, partnering with internal teams and property representatives to resolve issues efficiently.
Foster a positive, high-performance team culture rooted in accountability, communication, and customer satisfaction.
Skills / Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (higher education a plus).
Demonstrated supervisory experience in telecommunications, construction, MDU, or related field.
Proven experience managing field teams and coordinating multi-site projects.
Strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with project management, tracking, and digital documentation tools.
Ability to troubleshoot issues, make sound decisions, and manage conflict effectively.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively and maintain a consistent on-site presence.
Preferred
Experience working directly with property management or multi-dwelling unit environments.
Working knowledge of industry-specific tools, materials, and safety standards.
